Room Information

We offer four types of rooms in Clontarf Castle. They are Deluxe, Executive, Boutique Queens, and the Luxury Suites.

All our rooms are strictly non smoking.

We can only accommodate guide dogs at the property.

Yes, our hotel is fully accessible.

You can only make a booking if you are 18 years old or over. If you arrive at Clontarf Castle and are under 18 years of age you will not be permitted to stay alone.

Check-in and Check-out

You can use debit or credit card and cash at Clontarf Castle. American Express, Visa and Mastercard can be accepted.

Should you wish to charge to your hotel account a preauthorisation will be done at check-in.

You will not see any hidden fees or charges on check in. All our prices are inclusive of V.A.T.

Amenities and Services

At Clontarf Castle, your room has a wide range of amenities. From fast Wi-Fi to a huge 55” TV, you can sit back and relax with a tea or coffee while setting the temperature of your room for your comfort. Check out the full range of amenities on our Bedrooms page.

Your breakfast may be included in the rate that you booked. However, you can always add it to your stay at the front desk when you check in.

Yes, you can avail of a laundry service at Clontarf Castle. If you leave your items at reception before 9.30am, your items will be back on the same day. Please ask at reception.

You can park at the Castle free of charge.

Private transfers can we booked for a flat, pre-paid fee to and from the Airport or Dublin port by booking here:

Dining Options

Yes, you will have the choice of three areas to dine in. The Fahrenheit Restaurant, Indigo Lounge, or  the  Knights Bar.

Within our option of three restaurants. You will be able to enjoy breakfast from 7am and evening meals until 10pm.

Knights Bar –

  • Monday to Thursday 12.00 PM to 9.30 PM (Lunch & Dinner)
  • Friday and Saturday 12.00 PM to 10.00 PM (Lunch & Dinner)
  • Sunday 12.30 PM -9.30 PM (Lunch & Dinner)

Fahrenheit Restaurant –

Thursday to Saturday

  • 5:30 PM – 10:00 PM (Dinner)

Sunday

  • 1:00 PM – 3 PM (Lunch)
  • 5:30 PM – 10 PM (Dinner)

Indigo Lounge –

  • 12:30 PM – 5:00 PM (Carvery)

Yes, you can make a reservation online or at the front desk.

Unfortunately, both the bar and lounge operate on a walk-in basis only. However, our team will be happy to assist you in securing a table as quickly as possible upon your arrival.

Local Area and Attractions

Clontarf is centrally located to many activities, parks, experiences, and bars. We have a full guide for Destination Dublin.

While you can find a full day of fun in our guide above, we recommend eating at Zampas restaurant for a taste of Peru in Dublin. MossCo restaurant offers a more traditional menu near the River Liffey.
