Each dish, meticulously crafted and served flawlessly, enhanced our celebration. Monica, our incredible wedding coordinator, deserves special praise. Her professionalism, responsiveness, and dedication were truly outstanding. She embraced our vision from the start, ensuring that every detail was meticulously cared for. Our wedding day was beyond memorable, and a large part of it was thanks to Monica’s exceptional coordination.

Booked Clontarf back in 2020 and was married in Sept 2022. The wedding day was lovely with all the staff and the food being wonderful. I took off half a star because the original wedding manager here from 2020 was not great. She gave us wrong information and delivered bad news at inappropriate times (after a few drinks during our tasting!). This set our expectations in a way that couldn’t truly be accommodated. Luckily the new wedding manager Sinead was able to ensure we still had a lovely wedding, and they were able to mostly accommodate what we’d been promised. My one wish is that they would set up power at the back of the big ballroom the same as the front so you can use the two sections of the room separately without sacrificing something like entertainment.

Where to start with our review for Clontarf Castle, This place was just magical and perfect for our big day, so many good things to say about here, if you are thinking of Clontarf Castle for your Wedding, We would highly recommend, The staff are so professional and so nice, The bar staff and the Wedding manager and everyone we dealt with along the way, Sinead was excellent and made everything perfect for us and Ash was such a gentleman, he works so hard and and makes your day perfect! as I said in my Wedding speech this place will be in my heart forever!

My husband and I had our wedding day on 30th April 2022, from the moment we booked in the team literally could not have done any more for us. Sinead Moloney, the wedding manager at Clontarf Castle, was an amazing help throughout our planning & always so responsive! Everything went exactly how we imagined, and we are very grateful for all the hard work that was put in by Sinead and all the team. Nothing was too much trouble. On the day of the wedding from the morning right up to the evening Sinead and Ash were on hand and had everything under control for us. All our guests were so complimentary on the food and service on both days and are still talking about it now. I would honestly highly recommend to any couple considering this as your venue.

We had a fantastic day for our wedding in Clontarf Castle earlier this year, everything ran very smoothly on the day and was totally stress free. The team were very attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. We had a small wedding, around 50 guests, and while Clontarf Castle has a large banquet hall for weddings, they were more than willing to accommodate our small wedding too. We had our ceremony and evening dining in the Viking Suite and drinks reception in Knight’s Bar. We went for the majestic package and felt it included things that many other venues were charging extra for such as a choice of main and evening food, so it was good value for money. The food was beautiful, and they cater for different dietary requirements and allergies if needed. The package included a suite for the bride and groom for the night of the wedding, which was fabulous but also, we could avail of a discount rate for guests with no obligation to pay for the rooms if not taken. Sinead and the team were great to deal with from start to finish, I couldn’t recommend them higher.

Now that the dust has settled we would just like to thank you guys again for everything you did for us. The day and night couldn’t have gone any better. Everybody who attended the wedding thought the room setup and hotel were absolutely fabulous. A special thanks also to the catering staff and waiters, the food was lovely and the waiting staff through the night were extremely helpful and also went out of their way to help me and Leanne. During times like these you really find out how helpful a hotel and its staff can be, you guys made both Leanne and I forget about the pandemic we are in but helped us look forward and enjoy our build up, I am only sorry we didn’t book you originally.

Myself and all the Wedding party would like to thank yourself and all the staff of Contarf Castle for providing an amazing “big day” for Killian and Nathalia. Everything from the Ceremony to the drinks reception to the meal was perfectly organized and ran like clockwork. We appreciated all the help and attention to detail. The Castle itself looks particularly well at the moment with its winter coat of tasteful Christmas decorations. I would especially like to thank the chef for a wonderful meal, it was very well presented, high quality restaurant standard and I think everybody enjoyed it. I would highly recommend Clontarf Castle for a Wedding reception.

A venue change at 48 hours notice was stressful as a bride & groom to be but everyone we encountered in Clontarf Castle from start to finish made everything so easy for us. The setting in The Castle is stunning and the venue suited our party size so well. We’re delighted to have celebrated our big day with you and can’t recommend it highly enough for others in our situation now thinking about 25-50 sized weddings.
